Today We had a plantation programme in our center with children. We have planted Lady Fingers , Brinjals , Chillies, Beans, Long Beans & some fruit trees.

We had a cleaning programme in our Center. Two little monks also joined with us .

 

 

 

Activities in November 2012 -(2)

We had a cleaning program in our center on the 6th November, 2012.

Mr kapila, the Airforce officer who has worked on the Northern village support
project, arranged some people from Airfoce army. Some labours from
Colombo also joined.

We are planning to put seeds and plant fruit trees with children next week.

Activities in November 2012 -(1)

We have expanded the children garden in Kasbewa.

Due to the heavy rain in Sri Lanka, it has been effected to their cultivation.
We have finished harvesting manioc ( long potatoes ) now.

The children requested me to put sweet corn instead of manioc.
But here it is very difficult to find sweet corn seeds.

*KGH Centre,*

We are getting heavy rainfall to our centre area from the past few days.
The kitchen roof has got damaged and water comes inside.

So we are planning to renovate it and clean garden on the 6th of November.
For this event my friends and few army and air force soldiers will come to help us.
